OMG!!! So many new things to talk about! First of all, is St Patrick's Day. Momma says everyone is Irish on March 17 of every year and we have to wear green. I had a Spa appointment so my stylist put green feathers on my ears & I had a badge that said 'Kiss Me I'm Irish" (but, really I'm not, Poodles come from Germany). And I wore my pretty jade collar that day too.
Then, the other new thing is that I have two new foster sisters. Their names are Betty White & Jennifer Lopez. They came up on a charter from California and are staying here until they get new families. Betty White has one already, but they aren't picking her up for a few weeks. Aren't they cute?
Betty really needed alot of work from the Glam Squad. Here she is after her makeover was complete.
JLo was pretty much ready to go when she arrived, she only had to go see the vet one time for a small visit. She's pretty cute too isn't she?
She really likes to cuddle & her & Cracker wrestle all the time.
Then the other thing was we had a big storm. There was lots of wind and although all of us barked at the wind several times it would not go away. It broke branches off trees and then it blew the power lines down and we had no electricity!
Well, no power means no furnace and it got a little chilly. I'm really glad I have a fur coat.
Because it was so cold Momma let all of us sleep in her bed with her. I only had little naps on there before, never got to stay all night and certainly was never under the covers before. It was kinda fun, The next morning there was snow on the ground. I don't like snow. The power came back on and everything was back to normal. This is me wrapped up in a blanket to stay warm lol.
Oh yeah....when Momma went out, we helped with a little re-decorating. What do you think?
Momma said it looked like the toy section of the store exploded in our living room. I don't care what she says, I think it looks great!

Pennies, Gotcha Days & Elephants
Well, hello there! Spring is in the air and things are picking up around here. I've been kinda busy, kinda not busy.
First, I have to tell you about a little fundraiser. As you may know, the Canadian penny is no longer going to be used. They will be extinct in a little while. A nice lady contacted Momma a short time ago and said she wanted to help raise money for homeless animals by asking people to donate their pennies to Victoria Adoptables. She has raised quite a bit already and will be doing this for us until the end of June. Here is a picture of me with the cute cans she makes up for donations.
If you would like to donate the cans can be found at:
Island Pet Source (off Goldstream)
The Dog Bone (next to Starbucks on Jacklin)
EMCO Langford (on Henry Eng Industrial Way)
EMCO Victoria (550 Culduthel off Douglas)
Glenview Animal Hospital (3145 Jacklin)
VIBE Hair Studio (2849 Peatt Road)
The Liquor Depot (near Station House Pub, off Goldstream)
*All of these locations are in Victoria BC Canada
The next thing that happened was we celebrated Cracker's "Gotcha Day". Momma says that the day a foster dog moves in with their new family is called their "Gotcha Day". On Cracker's Gotcha Day I stayed home with a bone and talked to Mike while Cracker & Momma went out for the day.
When they came home he was really happy cause Momma took him to a place where he could roll in poo. He loves that! He stunk really bad and had to have a bath. He didn't like that. But, that night for dessert Momma made us a really special treat. It's chopped up bacon with grated cheese and peanut butter all mixed together.
And the biggest news? I have a new foster brother. His name is Lemoyian & he's an elephant!! Yup, I am now big sister to an elephant. Momma says I will never meet him, cause elephants can't live at our house. But we are fostering him for the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
Momma says this place saves orphaned elephants and rhinos in Africa and takes care of them until they are ready to go back to the wild (over 2 years in most cases). Every baby has a keeper that stays with them 24 hours a day while they are in the nursery. As they get older, they get moved to another area where they are adopted by the older elephants and live in a herd until they can be transitioned into the wild.
Elephants form very strong family bonds and a few have even come back to the rescue to visit and show off their new babies. In some cases, they have even come back looking for help if they become injured in the wild. Momma says it is a really amazing place.
Here is Lemoyain's picture.
Isn't he cute? He was rescued when he fell down a well.
Well, that's about all my big news for now. Keep waggin' your tails & we'll chat soon. Yip, yip!

It was soooo good! It sure didn't take us long to finish it!

Getting Caught Up!!
Well hello there everybody! I know it’s been a long time since I wrote anything, I'm sorry. Not much has been going on. It’s winter and we’ve still been going for our walks and stuff, but other than that, it's been pretty quiet..
We fostered a bunch of puppies over Christmas (which you knew about already).
They all went to amazing homes.
Then we got this other dog that we named Anderson Cooper.
He moved to a new home too.
I turned 2 on Feb 18. Momma spent the day with just her and I (no smelly boys). We went driving in the car, and to the beach and to the pet store. All my favourite places! I got a new leash & collar. Lime green, it goes really nice with my red hair.
She gave me bacon for dessert after supper too. I really liked that. I got a cupcake too, but only licked off the top & ate the Milk Bone.
After all that I was pooped so I went to sleep.
We live in Western Canada and that means it’s spring already. I sure hope so; I'm not really a fan of winter. It’s too cold, there is nothing to do. No sun on my face, it’s just yucky. But on days when it is sunny & I can go to the beach, I love it. I make so many friends there. Friends like this guy. Isn't he just the coolest?
But hopefully spring will hurry up, the fundraising stuff will pick up and I can get back to work. I really love my job, I like meeting all the people. They like meeting me too,
Well, that's all the big news. If you want to stay up to date on my day-today life, please visit my Facebook page.
That is all.

Happy New Year!!
WooHoo! A new Year has begun. I hope everyone enjoyed the Holiday Season, no matter how you chose to celebrate. Momma says, it's not all about Christmas, so whatever you did, I hope you had fun :)
Things have been kinda kooky here. Momma, Cracker and I have been taking care of a Momma dog named Cocoa and her 4 babies. Man, oh man are puppies ever alot of work. Momma does most of the work, but now that they are older I get to do some helping too. I play with them & we have fun together. There are 3 girls & one boy. None of them are poodles, but they are still cute and fun.
On New Year's Eve a lost dog showed up at our door. He stayed here overnight until we could find his people. He was a really nice boy. We didn't know his name, so we just called him Chance til his owner found him.
If you ever find or lose a pet I wrote on my other blog what you can do to make sure they get home quickly.
I hope you all have a very Happy New Year. Love Muppet.
